Changelog: when each vendor changed a price
Every observed change to vendor pricing or tier structure since hriscost.com launched. Re-verification runs on a rolling schedule; full passes happen monthly. The most material recent change is the September 2026 collapse of the free global-HR tier: Deel, Remote and Oyster all withdrew the free HRIS plans that had defined the cheap end of this market, and Remote and Oyster both moved Employer of Record to $699 per employee per month.

PEO Basic is $79 per employee per month, not the $59 we published, and PEO Plus is $124, not $109; both are marked No base fee on the pricing page. The Plus With Benefits tier at $159, which we had recorded as discontinued in May 2026, does not appear on the page and we cannot evidence that it ever did, so that entry has been withdrawn rather than restated. The page also publishes two plans we were not carrying: a non-PEO Payroll plan at $8 per employee per month plus a $50 per month base fee, and EOR at $599 per employee per month. Add-ons are separately rated: advanced time tracking $8, dedicated HR consulting $30 (Basic and Plus only), international contractors $39 per paid contractor, US-based contractors $8 per paid contractor, ICHRA $25 per enrolled employee. |

Re-verification cadence
Published-list vendors (Gusto, Justworks, Paychex Flex, Zoho People, Deel, Remote, Oyster) are re-verified monthly. Quote-only vendors (Rippling, BambooHR, HiBob, Paylocity, Paycom, Workday, ADP WFN, UKG Pro, Namely, Sapling-Kallidus, TriNet, Insperity, Paycor) are re-verified quarterly or whenever a buying-committee reference flags a change. Material changes are added to this log within 14 days of capture.
