Oliver Wakefield-Smith, Founder of Digital Signet. Digital Signet operates a portfolio of vertical cost-reference sites that publish primary-source numbers in narrowly-scoped categories. hriscost.com sits in that portfolio alongside siemcostcalculator, paymentgatewaycost, and itbudgetcalculator.

Editorial standard

Every numeric claim on hriscost.com is either sourced to a primary URL (the vendor's own pricing page) or, for quote-only vendors, published as our own buying-committee estimate with explicit disclosure - a low-mid-high band, never a single fabricated rate. Category references such as sso.tax, NAPEO, and SHRM are cited where relevant for definitions and context. If you spot a stale figure or a figure you can disprove, email and we re-verify within 14 days.

Affiliate and vendor relationships

hriscost.com does not currently carry vendor sponsorship. One vendor link is a partner link: the quote link on the Rippling page goes through Rippling's partner programme (PartnerStack) and may pay us a referral fee; it is labelled inline where it appears. Every vendor page carries the same link in the same place, plain for vendors we have no programme with. No vendor pays for placement, no rates are influenced by partnerships.

How the site is funded

Digital Signet funds the site as part of its portfolio. The longer-term funding model is a mix of category-relevant affiliate partnerships and direct sponsorship from non-conflicted services (broker firms, implementation partners, advisory practices) that do not themselves sell HRIS software. We will never carry a paid placement from a vendor we rank or benchmark.
